Safe Trick or Treat Night

There will be a Safe Trick or Treat Night at Toms River High School North on Old Freehold Rd. starting 7 PM. A short concert precedes safe trick-or-treating through the hallways of High School North. The admission fee is a can of food. The food will be donated to local area families. This event is sponsored by the Orchestra at Toms River High School North. For more information call 732-505-5705.

Campaign for Council Seats in Toms River

10 vying to be on Toms River council is an online Asbury Park Press article reporting that there are ten candidates running for council positions in Toms River. Four of these seats are for four-year terms and represent wards. There is one at-large seat for a two year term. Property taxes, recreation and traffic are mentioned as campaign issues.

Nautical Flea Market at the Maritime Museum

The Nautical Flea Market and a raffle drawing takes place on October 10th from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Toms River Seaport Society's Maritime Museum, 78 E. Water St. in Toms River. The Toms River Seaport Society is dedicated to preserving of the maritime heritage of Barnegat Bay.

Anniversary Celebration with Live Laughter
